So, I haven't been on too much due to school but I am hoping that I will be able to post more work once the workload gets a little smaller. Yup, college is so funXP I just wanted to let you guys know that I will be going to Fanime this year for the first time. I am so excited to be able to finally go and not just be like, "oh, I'll go next year." lol...so if there are any other fellow deviants/watchers out there who are planning on going, maybe I'll run into someoneXD Probably not too likely but you never knowXD I'll also be cosplaying. I'm hoping that I can get it finished in the next two weeks. If you see an awkward looking Kairi walking around with black hair, it's probably me. Anyways, so excited for this even though I'm only going for one day... I can't wait to check it out and spend tons of money on random stuff! and artwork. I'll post more work up as soon as I can! So...Halloween is almost here Very excited for that, although I'll be working that day Buuut I hope to get a few more drawings up before then. School has kept me pretty busy so I unfortunately will not be cosplaying this year...I'd planned on being Asuna but that may take a little bit more time to get together. I actually found another character to cosplay as who will hopefully be slightly easier, mostly cuz she has the same hair color as me so that helps haha....but For now, I'll spend Halloween working and passing candy out to the various little kids in the neighborhood.

Artist block I would say has sort of disappeared for now? I mean I'm working on a few things including an entry for the Art Journey contest here in devart but for some reason I either have those moments where I make an awesome background and then have no clue what to put on it orrr an awesome character but really dull background. It switches back and forth from time to time so I guess I'll just need to practice in order to get them both on the same level. Let's see...I've been attempting to game more also. That's going...swell Not really haha. I just started playing Skyrim yesterday and the graphics are awesome but it just doesn't seem like my kind of game. Plus the spiders in there are Freakin' HUGE. They freak me out so I end up spamming the mouse button in hopes of killing them fast but their bodies remain O_O ugh....*shudders* Not fun. I'll draw something to express my arachnophobia (hope I spelled that right...) someday. Anyways, there's more stuff to come, slowly but surely! Hope everyone is having a good week.

About five years ago, I asked my sister if she could help me make a deviantART account because I wanted to share my art with the world.
 


Here are some of the deviations I first posted when I joined. I chose to feature these two because they bring back such good memories. I still love penguins even to this day^_^ and Nia was my first OC.





I featured chibi Asuna and Warmth because these were one of the few times that I started to add a little bit more depth to my drawings. For the longest time, they looked flat hahaXD and they still do but I'm working on it.



I'm so thankful that there are so many loving fellow art friends who have all helped me along in some way, be it support or advice. I really appreciate it. I've learned that practicing is really important and you can do whatever you want to do in life if you continue to try. Even if you fail, just stand up and try again.  I'm really glad that I joined deviantART. I love this community and can't wait to see what the future holds for it. Happy 14th Birthday deviantART!

So, this isn't really art related. I mean it's part of the reason that I have not been drawing so much but I passed my driving test today so yippee! Now it's time to get off my butt and draw some more. yeah I'm really sorry. I have been busy with getting ready for college and whatnot. Fun times. Anyways, gonna keep this short.
